The villa located in Ortakent, Bodrum, has been redesigned considering user needs and technical possibilities. Open and semi-open spaces, suitable for the Bodrum climate, are arranged in harmony with enclosed spaces. To allow for simultaneous use by multiple people, the open areas have been diversified and the number of bedrooms increased. A staff room has been designed on the ground floor, accessible from street level. Entrance to the building is via a courtyard with enhanced spatial richness. A living area and kitchen integrated with the courtyard are designed on the middle floor. Access to the upper floor is provided by a gentle staircase. The living area on the courtyard level functions as a terrace. The open circulation designed between this terrace and the entrance hall creates harmony in the plan. On the upper floor, a new bedroom is located alongside the kitchen and living area. The master bedroom is connected to the main structure via dressing and en-suite bathroom sections. The kitchen and living area are treated as a single, integrated space. The furnishings of the living area are designed facing the view.
